It is our great pleasure to introduce you to this year's Eight Edition of the Italian Film Festival | Cinema Italiano Festival NZ at the Lumiere in Christchurch. We have tried to curate a Programme that combines the best in contemporary Italian cinema with masterpeices from Italy's rich cinematic tradition that also provides meaningful insights into society. At the same time , we would like to acknowledge the strong cultural relationship between Italy and New Zealand and this year the Italian Embassy in New Zealand are providing trhe support for us to be able to do this better.
We invite you to take this opportunity to immerse yourself in the energy and diversity of Italian culture through the evocative images offered by this year's selection of films.
