Once Upon a Time in the West
A mysterious stranger with a harmonica (Charles Bronson) comes to a small town and allies himself with the desperado Manuel “Cheyenne” Gutiérrez (Jason Robards). Together they stand in the way of the ice-cold contract killer Frank (Henry Fonda), who intimidates and kills people for the railroad. In the middle of this guerrilla war, the recently widowed Jill McBain (Claudia Cardinale) finds herself in the center of attention. The film serves as Leone's first part of a trilogy about the changes of American life as well as an exploration into revenge and gain.
